Wellness

YMG Wellness Clients are people looking to connect and communicate with their inner selves, working towards becoming their best and most authentic version of themselves and overcoming interpersonal struggles, including addiction, physical challenges, and isolation. Becoming “A Part Of” and moving away from “Apart From”. Group and individual sessions are available through the use of Yoga Movement, Breath Work, Meditation Techniques, and Reiki.

Yoga

 Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices  or disciplines which originated in ancient India and aim to control and  still the mind, recognizing a detached witness-consciousness untouched  by the mind and mundane suffering. 


Indoor, outdoor, online, individual and group classes available. 

Personalized Wellness

One-on-one sessions are available and can be incredibly beneficial. By incorporating movement, meditation, breath work, and Reiki, individualized issues, and problem areas are addressed, with the added bonus of accommodating your schedule! 

Meditation

Meditation is a word sometimes used in a vague, unspecific way in the modern world. This can lead to confusion about how to practice meditation. Some people use the word “meditate” when they mean “think” or “contemplate;” others use it to refer to daydreaming or imagination.


Meditation is a practical way to calm the mind, break down prejudices and see what is present, openly, and clearly. It is a way to train the mind to not get distracted and caught up in an endless whirlwind of thoughts. When the mind is silent and no longer distracts you, meditation happens.

Reiki

 Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that  also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is  based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us  and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low,  then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high,  we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
